I had both these coins from circulation many moons ago. I really like the 1958's design.

I think for the amount paid, you made out pretty well.
Spot silver is $19.77 Cdn or $13.95 US. 1.2 ounces of silver here or $23.73 Cdn in silver.
Neither coin is rare, mintages for the '58 - 3 million, '66 - near 10 million.
As far as grades, 1966 pretty baggy, scratched, maybe EF, 1958 EF/AU. Both look circulated.
I have the '58 as a pocket piece.

Thanks for the input, SilverDon. What would you assign for a numerical grade under the US system?

1966 - EF-40 Details: Scr.
1958 - AU-50
Under the Sheldon Scale, (Bazinga) or the adopted scale.
I am kind of a rookie at this so anyone else could give a
different score.

I'd be at around the same thing, EF40 and AU 50
