I bet every one of those guys on TV shows like Pawn Stars have teams of people who identify every item on the show. There's no way some guy can pick up a little piece of metal and say "Oh, this is a piece of the tailpipe from a 1927 Buick such-and-such and it's worth $47.32. No doubt about it." Yet people still fall for it.
