What grade would you assign .... Coin has scratches on reverse, from what I can tell and it is a Detailed Graded Coin .... I was a bidder at a low number but did not win ..... Anyways what grade would you assign, myself I gave it a "net grade" about 15 points lower than "official grade" - Your Grade?

I think you can knock off about $50-100 bucks on many of the higher end buffalo's or get a VF for the same price as an F used to sell for these days. You can pick and choose and buy only certified coins on key dates. I just look for sales where the seller says "Or Best Offer" and I make my best offer. They come back with their counter offer and we settle some place well below the original offer.

No Full Horn, NO XF is the way I grade .... Even a VF-35 should show full horn, in my opinion ..... I see more differences between coins graded exact same, same company that in fact I take a graded coin with a grain of salt ......

Years ago I got a VF-30 coin only to be disappointed later when I got the same date, same grading company, VF-25 coin that was superior in every way to its VF-30 brother .... How could this be, what is the standard .....

This 1914-D Buffalo is a perfect example of a poorly graded coin, in my opinion!
