One of my local coin dealers has a bunch of Canadian junk silver, mostly 80% dollars. According to (124) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed the melt value of these is currently $8.51. What is a reasonable price to pay for Canadian silver coins?
it depends on the year, older ones are good, 1958 and back you could do good on depending on what you pay and all the ones from the 40s are desirable key dates accept for the 1949 and to a lesser extent, the 1946. dont buy any from the 60s unless they are for melt or slightly above...unless they are nice shape or 1967(a common year but a well selling commemorative.
My LCS sold a bunch of foreign to me at spot price but apparently that is super good :) I think thedollarman has good advice. Not too much more than melt
