It looks like a 2 Feather (abraded die). I checked Ron Pope's book on " Buffalo nickels The Abraded Die Varieties" and he does list one for 1929-S. It is listed as a URS 08 for rarity (65-125 known); catalog numbers FS#-05-1929S-401, B05-29S2F-01, Pope's number 2F #17*. To give you a value we need complete photos of both sides to get a grade.

Here are 2 more pics. The whole coin obverse has a shadow where the 3rd feather would be but as you see in the original post pics there is no feather.

Looks F-12 and catalogs for $65.
