This coin is really puzzling me. It's tiny, 17mm diameter and very thin. The other side is unrecogniseble.
So with nothing to searsh with, I'm turning to you guys, if anyone recognizes the coat of arms that seems to include a cat-like creature and two strips at 45 degree angle.

I'm not really sure of the orinetation of the coin so forgive me if I got it all wrong.

Yes it is Gorizia. Turn it 45 degrees counterclockwise, the crown goes to the top.

At 17mm it's probably a ground down 1 Soldo coin.

Thank you both for your input
However with 17mm diameter I'm 99% sure it's a half Soldo.
Like that one for example: http://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces60313.html
I need to put it on digital scale at work to be sure.
(Note to self (and/or others): Always do a research of nearby (historic) states first! For some reason I was thinking eastern Europe with this coin and my search was of course futile.)
