is this extra claw I check some 1965 5 cents doesn't have the claw pointed in the arrow. this is still in a roll.

Yes, it is.

Not seeing all the new extra claws, sorry. But this has got to be the best one yet to bad it effected the entire year, if you search lots of nickels you'll know what year it is.

I found many varieties of hub doubling in roll searching new rolls. The 60's have a multitude of different dies because of the high demand for coins. It sure was fun trying to find as many different ones but got a little expensive after a while.

domys thanks for pointing this out. I have 2 uncirculated sets for 1965. one set the nickel is normal. the second set. the beaver has the extra claw like yours. I will post some images here later today. to show you the one I have. again thank you for showing that good find

This extra claw is in a 1965 PL Set. There are a few different variations of the claws.

domys you need to check to see if it is a large bead. its hard to tell. but here is a photo for you. that would also make this coin very valuable. so try to get a better photo of this area.

Nah, that's a small bead. 5 beads over GIN ( end of G to start of N)
