1944-P Lincoln Cent DDO-008 maybe?

This coin was fresh in mind from the last few weeks posts.

So I searched through 1944 from a couple vendors at the flea market to grab a couple more..

I cherry picked them out the discount 2x2 boxes for 15 cents each I think he rounded it down was under a $1 for 7 varieties I told him to keep the change ;-) this was the strongest one of the 3 different 1944 found. I didn't match up any dies yet but quick guess.

You have to approach 1944 DDOs like you do the 1960-D RPMs. There are so many that look similar.

Yup, that would be a nightmare. On the other forum I am involved with, Bob Piazza of Copper Coins was a huge contributor of education. It has always been a running joke when you found a 60-D RPM that you do not even bother trying to attribute, just send it to Bob. This was because Bob admitted he had about 20 full tubes of 60-D RPMs that he had not taken the time to attribute, and threatened to send them all to anyone that sent him another one.

I'd say it's either 008 or 015 real close

Nice one, O-F. Always nice to see the slant on the fours.
