These appear to snag a pretty pennyy. Does mine fit the bill? Should it be graded professionally?

What would you give it? Bill is not faded as pic indicates. Its my poor lighting. It has some nice numbers...

Appears to be in the Fine range. Bisons are almost always worth having graded.

For sure! Nice note, belongs in a slab, in my opinion. Coinfrog is dead on! Hope they say VF20

Your bison bill looks nice.
This bill is not a Silver certificate.
The $10 bill Series of 1901 is a legal tender banknote.
The difference lay in the coverage of the money.

This one might slide into a VF20 holder.

That's great news folks! Now, my next question is.... What agency would you suggest for best bang for the buck and respectability? I've scowered the site and there seems to be a lot of variables and opinions. I'm not opposed to spending a few extra for a more favorable grading. Yet again another learning stumbling block! Ughhhh...

Either PMG or PCGS. You can submit directly to PMG if you are an ANA member without being a PMG club member.

I personally don't see it in a VF holder, but just my opinion. Worth submitting in any case.

Thanks for all the help and input folks! I'm an avid firearms/prepper/survivalist individual. And I thought learning those areas had their difficulties. Wow... What an eye opener the numismatics have been! lol

silverbob - I'm not a survivalist, but I keep my Glock 19 close just in case.

We're gonna get along just fine CF! Although, I'm more of a SIG guy myself. It's all good!
