I know it doesn't flow like the woodchuck rhyme

Anyway, I see many variants from a squared off end to a sharp point and wonder how much of a point counts.

The top photo on this link, immediately under 1965 1 cent, shows a very clear example. The angle of the slant is 45 degrees.

The 1st of your pics might be one but it looks as if copper vertigo is eating away at the vine. The bottom photo looks close as well, but over time heavily circulated cents become worn down in all areas. This is a very challenging variety, indeed many variations of how pointed is pointed.

lol, I have asked that as well. also with the 1985 pointed 5's. That is until I found one, then its like, oh I get it now. I believe the last photo you have a pointed 5.

look at the down bar, on the pointed 5's they are all angled, on the blunter (but still pointy) ones the down bar is flat across.
