Ok guys... I picked up a bunch of coins for a pretty good deal today. In the lot was this coin. I can't figure out what it is! Maybe you guys can help... The reverse is worn down to no details in the center.

This is a Civil War token and probably worth $8-$10 in this low grade.

It's a civil war token has others said....they were issued and made because people were hoarding the Indian cents....it's an interesting piece of history

Be careful with civil war tokens. If you learn the history about them and realize how many there are, most at reasonable prices, they can hook you.

They are a fascinating historical part of the civil war.
