Hello...did anybody else buy the 2106 high relief antiqued kangaroo?

I am wondering if I leave that clear "saran wrap" type of film over the coin if over time it will damage the coin? I hate to tear up the presentation but this plastic laying tight on the coin give me concern for long term storage.

My gut says tear it out.

I bought one and yes, I have concerns about the safety of the coin. It arrived "off center" and it took some pushing with fingernails to re-center it. Over time the antiqued finish in contact with the covering could most certainly become rubbed. What were they thinking?

Thanks for the reply @paleoguy! I don't know what they were thinking?
I haven't broken it out yet. Will get around to it if it remains in my collection too many years.
