I assume the was referring to banks shorting gold.

@moxking,

If you take a look at most recent weekly gold futures report, both large and small speculators have been NET LONG gold contracts. Then who is on the other side of the trades? Market-Makers, or you can call them Banksters.

Market-Makers so far have been wrong; gold price is very strong and resilient.
