A little torn on this one. 34 bucks with tax seems like a lot for cardboard but seriously, it must be somewhat sturdy to hold 20 coins. I have to assume it's quite thick paper material.
Having no other real option for storing and displaying the series, I guess I will take a chance and order one. Worst case, I'll send it back for a refund if it's really bad.
Did anyone get a rep notice on this or have they just not bothered? I guess maybe there is no commission in it for them.

I bought one. They've sold 100 in an hour ( over 300 since last night). Engineered cardboard is pretty tough- they even make furniture out of the stuff. It looks neat to me!

@ CC-Ottawa. I ordered from my rep, but I didn't get a notice. He responded with an email.

You are all welcome for thanking me. lol.
I am glad that I can help to spread the news between coin forums for person that needed this case.
Solidifier mentioned first yesterday on RFD, I just posted new topic here afterward.
Anyway, heard about Ikea's several new furnitures are using cardboards. So I am not worry about cardboard collector case on coins.
lol.

justsilver Quote: Sold 400+ pcs in one day That's hotter than some of the Superman coins. And even if it gets damaged, it's only a $30 loss. I've lost more then that just on a single coin by paying issue price. cash03 Quote: Engineered cardboard is pretty tough - they even make furniture out of the stuff. Hopefully is comes already assembled.

Looks like I will pass on this possible "hot item" Does someone know the "mintage"? Still, will prefer the traditional, wooden case, the old one that we had for this series... (btw - it contains 35 slots and not 20)

Silveroid, That's a nice looking case for the $20 for $20 coins. First time I've seen it.
Where did you buy it, how much is it, and is it still available?
As for the new case, someone on the other forum bought 4 of them. No wonder they are going so fast if people are buying multiple boxes. Are the case going to be flipped?
There is no mentioned of mintage so they could possibly just make more of them if they are sold out.

Where did you buy it, how much is it, and is it still available? you welcome. But I didn't buy it (cause stopped my 20for20 on 10 coins). I got identical case for the Koala bullion coins, from the HubCityCoins ebay store (coin store in Moncton - they are good). Ask them for these cases, they might agree for special order. Price : CAD 50 + shipping. Thanks a lot, Slilverbugz, for URL.

Quote: ? how are you getting the # of boxes that are sold? Put in a big number in the cart and keep decreasing it until it says insufficient inventory to proceed. That will show the quantity left. Edit: I tried it and the biggest number that will go into the cart is 999. Actually, how do you find out that there are 1500 are left?

i hate to be the water to hit the fire, but seriously these cases are not for everyone, as there is no room for expansion in them, there is no slot to add another tray in, and they only hold 20 coins, the series is already over that number if you count all the coins ..plus they are way to bulky..they did not need to have such a large holder for the certificates, those are easy to store elsewhere..just my opinion, as to it's practicality..

Be frankly, RCM can not satisfy ALL customers with all their need with any single product. Someone might complain mintage too high on one coin but someone might complain mitage too low and soldout on RCM's website. As for this Collector Case. Someone already complained too bulky Someone complained too pricy for cardboard Someone complained only for $20 for $20 coins, not on $50 for $50 nor $100 for $100 Someone complained only for Year 2011-2015, not including 2016. Well, at least RCM is doing something to satisfy some of us. More than 500 cases sold on RCM's website in past 2 days. Finally, $20 for $20 coins found their home. ( case ) Home sweet home. lol. p.s. only $30 after all. We can all afford it after spent min $400 on 20 pcs $20 for $20 coins.
