Hoping Someone Can Give Me Some Info On This Papal Medal.

antwerpen2306 Pillar of the Community Belgium 1194 Posts	Posted 02/27/2016 2:08 pm it is a medal for pope Pius II , living from 1405 -1464 .On the reverse you have -I think - his curriculum .It is very difficult for me to read it , but it begins with : natus = born and at last but one line is the year of his death : A(nno) MCCCLXIV D(ie) XIV AUG : in the year 1464 day 14 of august .If you can give a transliteration or a detailled photo , it must be possible to translate it . albert Report this Post to the Staff
