I tried doing a quick search online for this medal but came up with nothing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

it is a medal for pope Pius II , living from 1405 -1464 .On the reverse you have -I think - his curriculum .It is very difficult for me to read it , but it begins with : natus = born and at last but one line is the year of his death : A(nno) MCCCLXIV D(ie) XIV AUG : in the year 1464 day 14 of august .If you can give a transliteration or a detailled photo , it must be possible to translate it . albert

It's part of a series of Papal medals issued by Lauffer of Nuremberg between 1700-1745.
Yours looks to be a later restrike.

it is the same obverse , but not the same reverse , there have to be at least three versions of this medal ,this in the forum ,that on the picture of numismatica and a third of the transcription given by Numismatica . albert

The only thing that seems certain is that they are all (plus possibly one more) by Lauffer.
