Hi,

I'd also give the 50 Pfennig a solid VF, in Germany 'sehr schön' maybe even with a small '+'.
Here You'd have to pay appr. 350 € to get one of these in that condition, maybe even a little bit more. Do you wanna tell us if it was a bargain? :)

Best regards from Berlin

yeah it sounds like a bargain, $46.02 aud for a job lot but the 50 pfennig did not interest me at all, I had no idea at all, I was more interested in the zwei mark 1908 kaiser konig ,the photos probably don't do the 50 coin justice, as it looks better than that, it might just make up for all the rubbish I have purchased over the years !! 350 euros you say wow!! regards from down town mossy point australia dave

Well, that is what I call a bargain. Actually, besides many 2, 3 and 5 Mark coins that were minted by the German States during 1874-1915, this is the only type that is missing in my collection from 1 Pfennig to 1 Mark German Empire coins. Especially when it comes to the 1 Mark and 1/2 Mark coins you can find easily find BU pieces for some common dates. But this one still is way too expensive for me :)

Best
