This Gate City, VA $20 is easily the rarest note in my collection. Only 4 small size known, two $5's and two $10's. Thus making this note unique. The shear rarity of currency amazes me sometimes and it is incredibly undervalued. Edited by WheatBack 03/01/2016 12:00 am

I've bid on 3 from our small town in the last ten years and I've always been beaten badly. More collectors than you might think.

The rarest note in my "collection" is the one my wife gets ahold of.
I never see it again.

While it has flaws, there are only 4 large size notes on this bank listed in the Kelly census. Signed by M.H. Wilson, President and A.J. Davis, Cashier

The rarest in my collection is probably this Large Oberlin National, Kelly shows a population of 15 large of all types. My family all came from this part of Kansas.

Nice looking notes guys!! Mine isn't as cool looking nor does it have any family history meaning (hard when your family is nomadic), but this is the rarest note in my collection. $1 1977A FRN printed on Natick Experimental paper. 1 of 5 known without errors. My rarest and most favorite collectible.

This Harlan bill is not common. The Italy bill is not rare but very cool.

I have shown this note before, and it's a favorite. It is something of a conditional rarity with a single digit S/N in this grade.
