TJsCoins Pillar of the Community United States 3229 Posts	Posted 03/02/2016 11:32 pm OK, so I have been looking at this thing for while and I think it is a Sheldon 261. I am going by the wide date on the obverse and leaf positions (specifically the leaf & A of AMERICA) on the Rx. I am looking at other things but these two narrowed me down quickest. Seems to be die state I (no sign of the arc-like die break which later develops through the date. S-261. Report this Post to the Staff

I am suprized at total lack of the die break but I guess this variety has at least one coin without it;) It has some issues as you can see. The green is not attractive.
