Found this CRH a few months ago, it's pretty defined and compared to the one on CandC this one seems to be later stage die issue. As well as a nice DC up through the V. Wanted to share with you all.   Edited by M_d_in_guy

ty for the replies from y'all. I find it odd that this variety get's little recognition, not because of this coin in my hands, but because of how it is so unique within itself and it also seems to be not so plenty.

On the reverse it's pretty cool how the denticles also become beads as you follow them around.

Looks like this coin will be added to Coins and Canada site in the errors and varieties section. David there accepted my offer to use a good close up pic. It's pretty cool to be able to offer such to the coin community.

This has to rank high in the top 10 of Canadain coin errors that absolutely accentuates the standard image. The birdsnest is just perfect, it reminds me of something RCM would reproduce as NCLT. Thanks for sharing! I looked through my own 1943 cents as well, nada:-( |

It's been 6 years now and I got to wondering if anyone has found one of these. I've been through few thousand coins and not found another. It would be good to find the different stages progressively yet not even a little teaser found. Nor have any friends I've talked to found any. Cheers.
