counterfeit coins was the price. That's a $1700.00 coin with a starting bid around $24.00.
Looking closer, there are many markers in the picture indicating it is fake.
The face and the hair on the Queen are all wrong but the
most telling indicator are the Radial Line that are spaced too far apart. From what I understand, this security measure by the mint cannot be duplicated.
Here is a picture of genuine coin. Notice how many lines there are between the two I's after Elizabeth compared to the Sellers coin.
