I would like to start a Numismatic club here in Boise Idaho. I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this topic..
I am looking for anyone who is willing to participate in putting together and being part of a Boise Numismatic Club consisting of paper money & coins. I have some great ideas and would really like to see a coin show put together at the expo / fairgrounds here in Boise in the future (obviously when the club is large enough). I think it would be a great way to get more people into the hobby and get some younger generations collecting.
If anybody is in Idaho and interested in the idea, please post here.

I have no idea, I'm in Indiana. I just did some searching to see if there were any clubs in Boise and I came up with that one. They meet on the 4th Wed of the month. I'll send you a PM or email with the meeting place and information contact address.
Well I take that back, I won't send you an email. Your profile is set to not receive emails. So you send ME an email.

would have loved to join you CollectorKing if I lived in Idaho. I've wanted to join a coin club for quite some time. There aren't any near Midland, MI that I know of. The closest is in Flint I believe and I'm not a fan of going to Flint.

I have been looking all over for a Boise coin club after we moved here 3 months ago. The SICC doesn't meet at the date/place/time they used to meet- we went there. So I asked the Rosehill coin guys about it, they said that the guy at the Coin Exchange ran it. I don't think he runs it anymore, but knows that they meet on the second Thursday of every month now, somewhere in Meridian. That is as far as I know.

Well they have a show coming up in may that is allegedly put on by them. I've been waiting to scope them out then. If not and either way we can still start a new club. So, so far there's what 3 of us in Boise area?

Awesome Jerryc39! That makes 4 of us now. I figure once we have a few more maybe we can talk about it. Maybe We can all meet each other at the "coin show" I'm just uncertain how big or impressive this is going to be at a hotel..?
