Gatewest has this set for auction on ebay including all COA's and collector case. I've seen other sellers include what look to be little art cards showing what painting the coin replicates from the individual Go7 artist as seen here: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/CANADA-2012-...AOSwl9BWNpXH

I'm curious if anyone here owns this complete set in a similar manner (with the collector case and COAs) and if these art cards are included with each coin? Are they part of the COA themselves (on the back part of the COA)?

I think that's a unique and great way to display these coins (if that's one's preference).

Also, what are folks' opinions on these coins 3-4 years removed from their release dates?

The mini-pictures that you see - this is the COAs. The picture is printed in the COA, and if I do not mistake - it printed twice, on the English and French parts.

In my opinion, the set is amazing from the point of view:
very Canadian, almost no doubtful design cause it reproduction of the painting.
Great display, unnecessary bulky box though.

The coins themselves not really "popular", cause it niche art (similar to the other art related coins, like Masks for example).

So....if someone collects only "hot" items, whatever design is - should stay away from this set.
If the Canadian art is part of your interests - consider the purchase, I think CA offered it once for CAD 700

Yes, the paintings are part of the COA.

The set sells at auction for about 50% of issue. I see it go for around $350 in some auctions.

Or you can buy off ebay for around $500.
