why is it that when I reply to another persons post I only have the option to add smileys AFTER I post it then go back to edit it?

I can add smileys if I start a new thread....but not in a reply to someone else's thread.

My guess is you're using the quick reply box.

The quick reply box is meant to post quickly when you don't care about smilies and quotes and such. Bare bones... no extra options... hence the nickname.

Am I right?
