You can add seller rspdc to your bad list....I recently spent almost 300 bucks for a fancy dealer-approved digital scale, made by A & D Company, the EK 1200i "Everest", so I could weigh some larger kilo coins and bars. Needless to say, on it's first test, this 2015 Silver Panda I bought from a seller out of Poland(with 3 negs for fakes already), the scale paid for itself. Being new to Panda's, I did NOT catch the fact the pic on the
ebay listing showed the coin without the 300 Yuan denomination, which is always on a real one.
Anyway, it came up 18.5 grams short...I posted in the Chinese coin forum, under fakes, and, within an hour, got my answer..a lead-filled silver plated fake worth 10 bucks...my cash is safe, with my
ebay case, so, not worried. I know..never should have bid..or paid..didn't do my homework well enough...lessons learned. Seriously thinking of buying the Sigma Metalytics machine for testing bullion(tests slabbed coins, no problem, and, gold bars through plastic), as it's getting nasty crazy out there in the world of forgeries!
