I notice that the tail end of the 9 is much fatter than the other two. Anyone have any idea what exactly is going on?

It doesn't appear to be die deteroation or post mint damage but that the die was made this way with one fat nine and two thin nines I find it very interesting.

This is how I normally see 199 pennies below

It doesn't look like mine was fat and then through wear and tear made thin. It's like they did two different font styles for the 9s.

Also this is the back it's not pretty and has some environmental damage but it looks like a WAM to me?

My other 1999 cent looks more close like this

Also here's a two more photos with a photo of the designers initals in the location of the Close AM location despite it looking like Wide AM to me. I don't know whta I'm looking at anymore. Sorry I put it in a flip just in case.

The reverse looks almost kind of to shiny very light red almost pink. The A and the M are not touching. There's enough space for the enviromental damage to show inbetween the two characetrs.

No WAM. The first pic shows die abrasion that makes the the 9's look thinner.

The initials are a better indicated than the a and M also the a in States won't favor a t.
