The Royal Mint has put up the Queen's 90th birthday coins on their site (note: site is running on the slow side today).

http://www.royalmint.com/our-coins/...0th-birthday

Offerings start with a £5 BU base medal coin, a £20 silver coin (guess that is the next £20 for £20 coin), all they way up to £7500 for a 5 ounce gold coin.

The £20 coin has household mintage limits and mintage limits.

Hi. That £7500 is a 5oz gold coin. With a limited edition of only 150.
Do you think that it is a good investment? I know of course that your paying way over the gold spot price (£4323 as of 21st April 2016)
But bearing in mind its such a very limited edition, could it be a good investment looking back in say 5 years time ?
I dont own any gold coins, but I have an interest and some spare cash lying around. What do you and the forum members think. Has there been such limited edition coins in the past ? How have they faired over time ?
