I just picked this coin up... its interesting for a couple of reasons. Firstly I don't own any coins from James I so it is a good addition to my collection for that reason, and secondly because to my knowledge I don't own any over date varieties.

Honestly speaking I am not sure I would have spotted that it is an overdate, and probably would have bought it regardless of that detail... anyway it fills a hole...

That is a sweet example. I can't imagine the overdate adds a huge value, but the coin itself is nice enough that it really doesn't matter.
