Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to find bank rolled quarters of one specific park and mint mark. I got to my bank every now and then to get rolls. They use Loomis and I've never gotten just a roll of new quarters they have always been mixed with new and old. I've gotten nickles and pennies that have had one year/mint mark in them, but never quarters. Anyone have ideas of places to find these other than ebay?

If you want specific park, mint mark combinations, then coin shops, or ebay is the only place. But if you are looking for the new rolls, banks sometimes have them but they also have the mixed rolls you describe and don't want to search through looking for what you are requesting. It's a lot of being in the right place at the right time. If you notice a cashier gives you 3 brand new quarters that are exactly the same and the newest issue, get cashback and ask for a roll of quarters or ask to change out a ten dollar bill. Sometimes they get new shipments and the odds will be higher.

Try the grocery store, that's where I get them. I've found all denominations of bank-wrapped rolls there.

keep in mind that some armor truck companies, might mix the new coins with old instead of keeping them separate

Thanks for the suggestions, just wasn't sure if some folks had more luck at certain places over others.
