AndrewMarek New Member United States 43 Posts	Posted 04/13/2016 11:22 pm I am missing the Seated dollars for my type set and have been tempted in the past (in the days when I had spare cash)to buy cleaned coins before to fill those holes because of the premiums this series brings. I can be cheap sometimes (wife's term I like to say a value hunter)... Thusfar I have fought the urge... I can say if the right 'lightly' cleaned coin came along at the right price I'd be all over it.. I guess I figure if you got a good deal, you could always sell it for what you paid... may never make money but I guess I never collected to make money... My 2 cents... Report this Post to the Staff
ronh308 New Member United States 25 Posts	Posted 04/14/2016 05:15 am Well, I pulled the trigger and bought it. It is an 1841--common date--but that's ok. I am retired, but have wanted one of these since a teen. I am certain I will be happy with the coin. Thanks for all the replies. I am not collecting with the goal of selling.
