Gather round, it's another ebay face-palm. http://www.ebay.com/itm/20155477280...RK:MEBIDX:ITAlso amused by throwing in the "Red" designation.  I know it's probably not going to fool anyone, but it just bothers me when people state these things as if they are facts. Not, "in my opinion, this happened at the mint and might be rare", but instead "hey this totally happened at the mint". Do you guys assume they are trying to pull one over or give them the benefit of the doubt that they are misinformed (which is still bad on their part as they are spreading bad info)? |

I do find it hard to believe that they seller did not know what they were doing. At any rate it did not sell. They were right, in a sense. It was red and it was "scare-faced".  |

Had he framed his description as a question, I would allow for ignorance. In this case, he's stating fiction as fact. Granted, this would be a relatively trivial loss for a trusting buyer, but it's fraud, nevertheless. |
