Today I was at the PX and in my change, I received two of the new Oklahoma State Quarters. I was going to spend them on a soda at a machine when I noticed there was a slight problem with the one. On the back, 2008, e pluribus unim and the left part of it on the back with the flowers and the tail feathers on the bird seem to lack a little on contrast. Not only that but the background around these features seems to be is not quite as smooth as the others I've seen. It almost has the qualities of a cheaply made gaming token.

After looking at the back more closely it almost looks like it was struck more than once. Like a double die.
Rest in Peace

Interesting!

I would sure like to get one, but none have shown up in my change as of yet.

crap, used to there being an edit button. The coin on the right is the one which lacks some definition on the bird, flowers, e pluribus unum, and 2008. I got the best scan of it I could.
