Not familiar much with Nickels, but I thought I would check out a few.
There is obverse and reverse doubling on the devices. Is this a MD?

Hi rainman. MD for both sides. You'll end up seeing this a lot on modern nickels. And it tends to be more pronounced.

Hey hey. Would MD be considered an error?

Does anyone have a good close up of DDR for modern nickel?

Hi rainman - visit here for some ideas: http://www2.briansvarietycoins.com/listings

DDOs or DDRs for the moderns are few. 2004, 2005, and 2015 come to mind quickly. But none have the lettering doubling on the reverse. 2004 has outer device doubling on IGWT and the date/MM.
