I picked up a small collection today, this replacement was in the mix. I'm not a note guy, thought it was kinda cool with it being an asterisk. Would this have much interest for collecting? Got all the notes for face and coin too, except the silver.

looks like it doesn't have much value. I'd keep it though, even in the rough shape that it is in

Thanks Paulsz, I did check C&C and thought it may be worth perhaps 10 to 20 as a filler for someone. But sometimes the site can be misleading.

Wow, I got distracted by the devil's face asterisk issue prices :O insanely high.

Anyways, yes C&C website can have slightly higher prices. I agree with the $10-20 valuation on that website, but I checked with a 2016 Haxby Catalogue and it says $3.25 in VF. A probably more realistic price.
