Quote: The Coin Shoppe has more gold deltas in stock, priced at $1750.00 CAD. Even CAD 1849.95 (prior any kind of discount, if it valid for this coin) Good for the people who wanted it and got directly from Mint without thinking too much (or for small premium) Added: Surprised to see some direct undercutting on the other forum. When one member declared, that he (she) is selling the coin for CAD 1700, relatively soon, other member posted about CAD 1550 price... So, there are additional two coins for sale: CAD 1700, CAD 1550.

Selling at $1550 outside of ebay is the same as $1800 on ebay because of the fees.

But both of them posted on the forum, with the message : "I would sell for X" and "I will sell for Y" Both of them will surely list on ebay, but also trying locally as well. Nothing wrong with it (each one sells for his /her price), but between members it could be done in more delicate way.

Just curious... As of today, the first episode of Star Trek aired 50 years ago. My wife and I watched both the 'Pilot' episode (which actually aired later) and S01E01 last night. Anybody else an actual fan of the series?

Quote: Anybody else an actual fan of the series? Definitively not of the TOS I am not looking on the effects, action and all stuff, which nowdays pushed to the Sci Fi, but imo, the short series just hasn't enough time to fully "open" the described adventure. Enjoyed more and raised on "Next Generation" , and in bottom line, I prefer the full length movies

Dcadon: As of today, the first episode of Star Trek aired 50 years ago. Wrong! Star Trek: The Original Series/First episode date was September 8, 1966

Returned from the Mint Boutique on Granville Street. They had only 9 of them available. I did not get one since I was not among the first 9 nine people.
While the line was pretty short some people came at 8:00 am or earlier.
I wonder where the 92% sold figure comes from since it is obvious not all went to the Mint stores. So where did the 120 unsold ones go? I thought the store would have more than 9 available but the store refuse to divulge how many would be available before today. Maybe the staff bought some of them? Who knows.
I already have one so I did not feel too bad about it besides wasting a hour in line. But the guy behind me drove all the way up from Seattle and did not get one.

I see on the Mint Website the starting shipping date status is now gone! What happens to ebay prices when sellers who sold pre-sale are committed to shipping in 30 days from sale date and the Mint has delayed shipping? I have not seen any REAL in-hand pictures yet.

Thanks MoneyPenney for update Yours and other member's story, describes well, what did go there outside. Yes, interesting - the Mint declared "92% sold", but it impossible, that RCM will count remaining 8% as coins, that went outside of the Mint. Or the numbers in-accurate, or the coins have been sold via boutiques to the "Family and friends"

Quote: I see on the Mint Website the starting shipping date status is now gone! The Mint generally removes the 'starting shipping date' when that date is reached. There is no reason to suspect it is delayed. My credit card was pre-authorized for the gold coin today. With no indication to the contrary, I suspect it has either shipped or will ship this week.

Star Trek: The Original Series/First episode date was September 8, 1966 The first airing was September 6, 1966 in Canada on CTV. It first aired in the US two days later. Coincidently, it's being shown on Space Channel as I type this.

SGB USA had 6 pcs Delta Gold Coin for USD$1150 each this morning.
But now, no more listing on this Delta Gold Coin, not soldout, but remove this product from its website.
Do not know what is going on.
