We are nowhere half way into 2016 and RCM already comes with an 2017 dated coin. They really are looking for more revenue...

I got the first coin - the fox, but I'm still waiting for the box. It seems like a good idea to have the
clear glass with the magnifier built right into it to view these small coins.

I really like this series. The addition of the magnifying box is what sold me on this series. 4 of the smallest gold coin collection!

The box comes with the third coin. I wonder if they will sell the box separately for the other 11mm gold coins they produced in previous years

Yes, kind of frustrating, "Coin 3: Inuit Arctic Fox (priced at $79.95, ships in September, 2016" - so we have to wait another 4-5 months before we see the box for these coins.

I love this series. The detail on those small coins are amazing. I usually find a flaw on a coin (curse of being a dental hygienist), which must drive the mint crazy ( I should be on their quality control committee), but these are flawless- no room for a flaw. Can't wait for the box, but then summer will be over- :(.

When I inquired to my Rep about why this is dated 2017, he forwarded it onto the right department who got back to me with the following explanation - doesn't make much sense to me, but there it is.

Originally products where launching closer together later in the year but when subscription was incorporated in order to balance the product offering and themes, a decision was made to launch the product earlier.
