Hey, I have gotten an opinion on this coin already and the guy thinks it is Roman dating anywhere from 800 B.C. to 300 B.C. The thing is that he wasn't exactly sure and could not peg it. I have weighed it and it comes up to 2.32 Grams. It looks like it is made of copper or bronze and is smaller than a U.S. Dime but almost the same size.

What is it and the date?

It is indeed Roman, of the Constantine era. I see a partial legend starting at the base of the neck and running clockwise-- "DNC(...)VSPFAVG" the AVG stands for Augustus, meaning he was emperor and not Caesar at the time.

On the reverse I see an arm bending at a right angle above some tangled legs. This is the most common late Roman of all, the FEL TEMP REPARATIO type, soldier spearing fallen horseman.

Here is a good reference to the type:

The only match to the legend and the reverse is Constantius II, 348-350 AD.

Thank you so much Finn235 and echizento. You guys are great. Since Finn235 pointed out the lettering, I can make them out too. So it is Constantius II, 348-350 AD FEL TEMP REPARATIO I am going with. :)
