I too use my local credit union. I have two branches within 10 minutes of me. I dump $500 1-2x a week at one and dump $300 at the other one 2-3 a week. My second bank limits me to the $300...my other bank is more lenient with me,....some coin I reroll and dump at Bank of America or key banks....I have accounts with them too.

My bank has a coin counter. I get some good stuff because it seems like people leave a lot of change, foreign and Wheaties with the occasional silver. I go to a Wells Fargo.

I get rolls/boxes from local B of A, and dump at a CU with a counter.

My dumps go to a bank with a coin counter, but I also deposit some in a checking account that I have at another bank. When I deposit I have to roll the ones that go to that bank, but it helps give my regular dump bank a break ever once in a while.

I roll and return, but I don't send them back all at once. I take the time to track what I get on a spreadsheet, and when I get five or six rolls they get taken to the dump for recycling.

It can take me a while to process a box.
