Hello, I have this Roman coin, and I have searched many sites and books, and I can't find this exact coin anywhere. If someone could please identify it, and a possible value, I would really appreciate it. A reference would be nice too!

Excellent coin! It still has a good bit of the original silver plating, which is highly desirable.

It's hard to guess the value of ancient coins, but you have a very high grade, rare variant of a popular but common type. If I had to guess, maybe $25-50?

Very high grade? Rare variant?

I'm not following that.

From what I'm seeing this is not an exceptional coin. It's better than an uncleaned coin, but it is not a premium piece.

Please explain.
