Hello all,

This is an 1826 bust half in an NGC XF 45 slab.

It has some interesting colors around the obverse, mostly a blue-green color. It was very tough to get it on camera but I took a few photos that will hopefully help. The reverse is plain vanilla, nothing notable.

Thanks.

It looks to me like the toning is only on the remaining lustre the coin has.
Looks good to me

Sorry I forgot the 2nd question. Does something like this get stronger over time or does the slabbing freeze it in its tracks?

Neutral toning. Not unattractive but I don't think it would command a price premium.

I like it. And it should stop toning in the holder. Should.

My favorite topic! I think it's above average on the seven step scale. Because the devices are clean but the field is toned.

It should stop in a sonic sealed air tight holder but environment plays a factor.

It's a beautiful coin IMO. Wholly original.
