Ahhh I will post a picture via the Forum email. As I'm happy to proclaim ownership to the grand daddy of coins. I did point out before of my theory of George being on the Chain cent --- I agree its a hard argument but ok. --- Now here is a real beauty S1 with so much to see that I feel very lucky to have obtained such a coin. Notice how relitevly Mark free it is* Very hard to get on like that let alone corrosion free for the most part. Yes micro shallow pits here en there but hey for a Chain it is remarkable* .The only weak point is the date and even in F15 a S1 will be very weak especially the number 1 in the date. I will post a picture shortly
I asked somebody to post help post a picture-- it was posted in the Wrong thread--- uggg . I'm not sure why a picture has to be a very complicated prosses-- my apologies. I'll post when I get to a library
Typecoin thank u for posting it correctly - man was I frustrated. As I see, the picture is not a great one but its ok - . Sadly I just think that this thread became stale . whatever --- when my computer gets fixed I'll post a better picture.
Congrats on the pickup! really nice chain and sharp lettering on the reverse. profile also looks good. some corrosion here and there but overall a superb example
