Anyone aware of a good coin shop in Copenhagen?
...not that easy to conduct google searches in a language you don't master!

Did a quick google search in Danish and found three results, maybe some are useful?

Nielsen Paul Alex (Mønthandler)
Holmbladsgade 7

Poulsen Frimærke- og Mønthandler
Smallegade 37

and

Frederiksberg Mønthandel
Gammel kongevej 146

With a pic from their site

None I've ever been to but might as well check out next time I go to Copenhagen.

Try google for 'Mønthandel'. If you fly on to Norway it would be 'Mynthandel'. I haven't done much business with these shops (never visited the one at Holmbladsgade), but what I have has been trustworthy at ok prices for Scandinavia. I have been here as I fly a lot via CPH airport, which is about 20 minutes away.

Anyway, you can take the metro directly from the airport to two of the coin dealers, just get out at Fredriksberg and walk a bit south. :) A single metro ticket should cost you about $5 or $6 or so - which is a normal price here.
