Athalbert Pillar of the Community Spain 629 Posts	Posted 05/12/2016 6:05 pm The actual Merida was "Emerita Augusta"; the capital city of the roman province of "Hispania Ulterior" and after that capital of the province of Lusitania, founded by Publius Carisius (legatus of Octavius Augustus) with legionarius licensed from legions that fought the cantabrians wars (Legio X gemina and Legio V alaudae). Athalbert Pillar of the Community Spain 629 Posts	Posted 05/12/2016 6:59 pm In Ibiza we have a museum that have about 100.000 ancient coins... do you know how many of those coins are exposed? about 30 The others are not disposable to visitors... sad, very sad but is the general rule in Spain!
