I have taken pictures of this coin at different angles, to reveal different hairline-like features

Are these die polishing marks or signs of cleaning?

What grade would you give this?

I made a comment on your 1936 Merc about it being wizzed. Now you got me confused with it's twin .
before I make a complete fool of myself ,lets leave it to the experts .

Yea, the 1935 and 1936 were bought together. I think one of them is au and one is ms, but not sure if either is details or straight grade. Could these be die polish marks?

The pics somehow make it difficult to judge originality - almost too bright. Obverse issues might just be bag marks, but not the reverse field lines. Just can't be of much help here.
