This is in an NGC slab. Does the color looks a little too smooth and unchanging?

I think it could make AU53 also. with the dullness of the coin and lack of any luster whatsoever it may have had an old cleaning but could be market acceptable... hows that for skirting the issue?

Panzaldi, that's a nice skirt. Covers just enough to be acceptable but still leaves room for speculation.

I see zero luster, so EF-45 in my book. Details are definitely AU, but you cannot have an AU grade without luster, period.

I would have said AU-53-55. Great fully struck hair detail, Great shirt (is that a shirt?) detail but the stars not fully struck up. Looks very nice to me!

Maybe the luster was subdued in the pictures. I disagree with NGC.

Shouldn't the NGC label be brown not grey? Looks like the pictures might be a bit off color in my opinion.

That's the color it is in the seller's pic. It checks out on NGC verification although no pics there.

Once I receive it I'll take better pics. Full return privileges (Thanks CCF for the advice!) so it was worth a shot.
