I have only been collecting for about 7 months and I havn't bought any slabbed coins, I also havnt had any slabbed. The coins I'm collecting are going in my dansco albums, after that I think ill start buying raw coins worthy of the cost for grading. but for now I enjoy watching the albums start to fill up

My general rule is if's not worth at least $100, then why bother spending $20-25 slabbing it ? You wont recover that cost and your coin is now a $100 coin encased in $25 plastic, but still only worth $100.

If you noticed the cheaper coins of the group (bottom row) are not slabbed. It's not worth it. Now if those same coins were in AU or MS grade, then it's a different story.

Wow that is a nice set!

As a beginner I can only look forward to completing sets of my own and showing them off on here.
