I'm still learning how to grade coins so don't put a lot of faith into my assessment. Here we go...
On the obverse I see a small ding on Jeffersons cheekbone and possibly one on his forehead. The fields are clear and there appear to be no signs of circulation wear.
On the reverse, Monticello is poorly struck which is not uncommon for a nickel form this era. Again, the fields appear clear and I cannot see any obvious signs of circulation wear.
Overall the mint luster is intact and the color is fantastic, just right for a black beauty. I would say due to the weak strike overall this would grade at perhaps a MS-62 or 63. Again, I'm not very good at this so we will see what others have to say. This is a great looking coin and would not hesitate to pay a premium to own it.
