josephrg Valued Member United States 234 Posts	Posted 05/31/2016 7:01 pm I purchased this coin partially cleaned thinking it was a Islamic silver coin. since I have cleaned it more details emerged and it looks more like a Celtic coin but am not able to identify it. The weight is 3.10 grams and about 19mm.I paid $18.00 so I wasn't expecting it to clean up so well. thanks Joseph Report this Post to the Staff

The silver seems to be high quality compared to some of the later romans also the details are much sharper than my photo shows. Report this Post to the Staff
