Hello, might be a stupid request but I cannot find a year to this coin.
I believe it to be a half crown but no dates are clear.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated

The mintmark on your coin is an 'A' just above the shield and before the letter 'P'. This, I believe, would indicate it was minted at the Tower of London between 1582-1584.See this link:-
