I went back to a flea market dealer today to check his foreign bins for silver coins. In the past I have bought silver Canadian quarters and dimes for well below spot value. Today was no different. The dealer must not care about Canadian because he had a few silver dimes mixed in his 25 cent box and one in hs 50 cent box. I ended up finding 5 total. Not as huge a find as my 10 + coins a year a go but still decent. One was a 1951 dime that I needed for my folder so it was doubly productive. Lots of non-silver era dimes and quarters for the same price (not a deal there).
I can't wait for the coin show in Raleigh in March to see what I can turn up. Have to study Krause to lear dates and weights. Also got a 93 UK pound for 50c (well below the exchange rate of 2 USD = 1 pound. gotta get more of those and plan a trip
