The style would indicate that it is a Roman Republican coin but I haven't seen that figure on the obverse before...the pictures are a bit blurry but my amateur gut instinct would say it is fake...
I hope I am wrong but let's wait for the experts to show up

Edit: Actually It is not a Roman Republican coin, it's a Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Eukratides I 'the Great' AR Tetradrachm. Circa 171-145 BC.. Here is one that is authentic which was sold in an auction at Roma Numismatics..I am still convinced that yours is a fake though.

Welcome to the board, Perparim. I am glad you're screening the coin here before making the purchase. So often people do it the other way around (checking on a coin's authenticity after they've spent their money).

Yes, it purports to be a tetradrachm of the Baktrian king Eukratides. It is a pretty obvious fake, though, and may be a later generation of a documented fake listed at Forum...certainly seems a close match for it.

The style, color (supposed to be silver), and fabric are all off - and the toning is not natural. If real, the coin would be quite valuable.

Yes, sorry, this particular type of fake has become quite popular in recent years since the Afghanistan war, with many soldiers etc bringing them home after finding them for sale in the street markets of Kabul.
